An electrical shop is one of the hardest places to run billing. A single wire comes in several sizes, colours and brands. Breakers, switches and fittings change price whenever the supplier sends a new list. We know this because Devsio POS was built inside one: Star Electric Enterprises in Saddar, Rawalpindi.

Name items the way your staff search

Pick one naming pattern and stick to it: brand, item, size. For example "Brand 2.5mm wire 90m". When the cashier types "2.5", the right items appear. Smart search saves more time than any barcode on items that are sold loose or in coils.

Use brands and categories

Group items by brand and category so reports make sense. You can then see which brand moves and which one just sits on the shelf.

Update prices in bulk

Do not edit 400 prices by hand. Export your item list, update prices in Excel and import it back. Devsio POS can also read prices from a supplier's PDF or a photo of the price list and update them in one go.

Quotations and delivery challans

Contractors ask for a quotation first and collect in parts. Make the quotation in the POS, turn it into a bill when confirmed, and use delivery challans for partial deliveries. Stock and the contractor's ledger stay correct.

Find dead stock early

Run a slow-moving stock report every month. Items that have not sold in 90 days are cash stuck on your shelf. Bundle them, return them, or push them with a staff incentive.
